Philomath Man Dies in Albany

Charles Hoffmeyer, of Philomath, 61 years of age, died yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital, Albany, where he was taken recently for treatment. Death resulted from organic heart disease. M.S. Bovee went to Albany yesterday afternoon to bring the remains to Corvallis and the funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Newton cemetery, under the auspices of the I.O.O.F. Mr. Hoffmeyer had resided in western Benton county some time and was well known in Philomath and the Alsea valley.

Charles is buried in Mount Union Cemetery, Philomath, Oregon.
